Carl Friesen
Part of Team Winning TWO International Awards!
Since 2004, emerson consulting's Carl Friesen has been writing most of the content for "Technically Speaking," the global newsletter of the engineering and environmental firm Golder Associates. Recently, his work has been acknowledged through the newsletter winning two international awards.
The first is from the architecture, engineering and environmental firm ZweigWhite, whose Marketing Excellence Awards competition gave "Technically Speaking" a First in the Custom Magazine/External Newsletter category in June 2009. Judges' comments included, "I think it meets its goals, beautifully" and "Interesting reading."
The second award came in July 2009, at the national conference of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, an international organization of marketers to the architecture, engineering and construction sectors. Out of some 20 entries in the External Newsletter category, "Technically Speaking" received a First in SMPS's Marketing Communications Awards at the annual conference in Las Vegas, NV.
