Elena Petricone
Deputy Imaginitive Officer
Elena Petricone graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from Hampshire College in May 2009, where she concentrated in creative writing and media studies. Her final project at Hampshire consisted of a novella and an analytical essay. Elena’s passions include writing, language, and research. Her research has taken her into interesting directions, including anthropology, astronomy, and forensics. She enjoys all aspects of writing, from crafting to revising to peer editing. Elena is also a licensed massage therapist in Massachusetts, and while at Hampshire took an active role in events and trainings at the Community Health Collaborative. She won an Honorable Mention in the Spring 2008 WOW! Women on Writing Flash Fiction Contest. She is hoping to enroll in an MFA program in fiction writing in the fall of 2010.
