Henry Stimpson APR

Henry Stimpson has more than 22 years of experience as a public relations professional, communicator and writer. Before becoming an independent consultant, he was an account executive with Schneider Parker Jakuc Public Relations in Boston, where he specialized in high-tech PR. Previously, he was a spokesman, writer and editor with Commercial Union Insurance Companies, where he handled media relations, edited the employee newsletter and wrote for the company magazine.
A widely published writer, he has written for Fidelity Focus, Stages, Financial Planning, Lotus Quarterly, Financial Services Times, Mass High Tech, Direct Marketing, PR Week, Boston Business Journal, The National Underwriter, Insurance Times, Insurance Review, Independent Agent, Human Resource Executive, Professional Agent, Risk & Insurance, www.401k.com, The Boston Globe, Rolling Stone, Yankee and Bostonia.
He received his master's degree from Simmons College and his bachelor’s degree from Boston University, where he also completed graduate courses in public relations and communications.
Henry holds the Public Relations Society of America’s APR designation, which is granted after passing rigorous written and oral examinations.
