Jennifer M. Canfield
2009 Intern
For Jennifer, emerson consulting group is a platform from which to draw understanding and experience within the publishing arena. Alongside the literary agent and editing exposure found here, Jennifer is also working in the areas of music licensing and music publishing at an independent record label in Boston.
Currently a candidate for a publishing and communication degree at the Harvard University Extension School, she already holds a degree in intellectual property law from Franklin Pierce Law Center as well as a graduate and undergraduate degree in English literature and Art History from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
For the past decade, Jennifer has worked in the intellectual property law industry (i.e. copyright, entertainment, trademark, patent and infringement litigation), serving several major Boston law firms and companies, and continues to attend conferences in this field. Her first professional role was as a curatorial researcher, docent and travel tour guide at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
