Maggie Sutherland
Summer Intern 2008 & 2009
Maggie Sutherland is in her 4th year at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. There, she double majors in Spanish and English and enjoys being thoroughly immersed in language in her studies. She knew that she wanted to be an English major long before she entered college, but she now loves how Spanish language and literature challenges her writing and reading on a completely different level than English language and literature. At Washington and Lee, Maggie plays soccer and varsity track and field. She believes that this competitive outlet helps her in and out of season. Se also is involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, as a Vice President (Member Education) and in the University Big Brother and Sister Organization. She is author of the article "Cutting Edge Internet Success: Marketing and Self-Promotion Through Newly Popular Internet Tools," published in CEO Refresher.
