Precious Kirk
VP Creative Affairs
Precious Kirk joined the emersongroup team in April 2006 to focus on publishing and PR projects. With three prior years of experience in public relations and more than six years of writing and copyediting experience, she has published articles in The Louisiana Weekly ( New Orleans, LA) and the Shreveport Times ( Shreveport, LA). She also worked at Barberton Citizens Hospital ( Barberton, OH) as its Manager of Public Relations and Marketing and, in addition to her emersongroup duties, currently serves as Manager of Public Relations for the New Orleans-based nonprofit organization YOUTHanasia Foundation, Inc.
Precious has earned a Master’s Degree in Communications from The University of Akron and a Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. She is an associate member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
