Ryan Tan
Summer 2010 Intern
Ryan, an international student at Boston University’s School of Management, is majoring in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and is pursuing a minor in International Relations. As a rising senior (May ’11), Ryan intends to begin the path to private equity through the consulting route. He believes that historical Concord might be where he took his first step because emersongroup, the consulting firm for consulting firms, offered a well-regarded summer internship program in publishing consultancy. In addition, Ryan aims to understand the anatomy of an American small business. When not absorbed by school work, Ryan actively works with Boston University’s China Care Fund and keeps up with current events. During his free time, he enjoys music, film, and photography. Furthermore, he enjoys traveling with family and hanging out with friends. Apart from optimizing the internship experience, Ryan wishes to launch a startup company with a number of friends at the beginning of the fall semester.
