Using Writing and Publishing to Advance Your Business

In this workshop, learn to conceptualize and implement writing projects, tie them to business objectives, acquire tips for keeping the process going. Participants will even get an article started right in this session!

  • How to insure that your writing projects achieve your strategic business objectives by leveraging them as business development tools
  • Producing an outline that "frames" your writing project
  • A magic process for knocking out first drafts FAST every time!
  • Research techniques to advance both your writing and your client relationships
  • Tips for fine-tuning and tweaking manuscripts, business letters, website pages so that editors and other target readers will LOVE them!

    Pre-class preparation:
    Develop a list of 5-10 potential article ideas (AIL) and 10-15 target publications (TPL)
