In today’s competitive market, organizations must continually perform better than their historical best in order to stay on top. This requires executives to understand and implement processes that will lead to success. A CEO often has little time to manage and monitor everything that goes on, so picking and choosing key areas to check is the next best thing. But how can executives form a clear view of the organization in order to determine which areas deserve the most attention?
Carol Bergeron, the founder of Bergeron Associates in Burlington, Massachusetts, guides organizations to stay efficient amidst the competition. As a human capital and organizational performance strategist, consultant and coach, she works with leaders to improve and perfect organizational results through people. Carol works with executives of medium and small organizations in a variety of industries, ranging from technology, manufacturing, professional-financial-tech services, insurance, to non-profit and state government. She recently partnered with Insight Management Group to conduct a survey of over 100 CEOs on their perceptions of the success or failure of a variety of organizational performance business practices.
In addition to her research and consulting, Carol has published her ideas and research in The Handbook of Business Strategy, Leadership Excellence, CEO Refresher, IndUS Business Journal, Nonprofit World, Women’s Business Magazine, Employment Management Today and the SHRM journal Insights.
She also keeps her clients informed via her monthly e-newsletter and is a frequent speaker, instructor, and facilitator to such professional organizations as Mass Bio Tech Council, Senior Executive Networking Group NE, CEO Resources Forum, WPI Venture Forum, Medical Development Group, the Institute of Management Consultants NE and The Executive Committee. She has presented at higher education venues such as Bentley College and Boston University 's Corporate Management Education Center.
Before founding Bergeron Associates, Carol gained internal consulting experience by serving on senior leadership teams during unstable economic times at major firms like General Scanning, Teradyne Laser Systems, ISI Systems and Symbolics. She has served as the President of the Institute of Management Consultants New England, fortifying its visibility, financial strength, and membership. While serving as an elected trustee with fiduciary responsibility for a condominium association, she oversaw two major real estate projects. Currently, Carol serves on the membership committee for the Association for Corporate Growth Boston.
