...4 critical rules to live by
Sometimes we need to remember what the real rules are in order to succeed in business and life. So here they are:
1. When you make a mistake, make amends immediately.
It's much easier to eat crow while it's still warm.
2. Learn to pick your battles. Ask yourself:
“Will this matter a year from now?”
“A month from now?”
“One week… one day… one hour?”
“In five minutes?”
3. The only really sure advice in business you can give someone is:
"Go! You might meet somebody!"
4. Only two tools are really necessary: a can of lubricating oil and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should… use the oil.
If it does move but it shouldn't… use the tape.
